Medhufushi is simply stunning! One of the most modern resorts in the Maldives, Medhufushi is constructed in traditional Maldivian style on an untouched & unspoilt atoll, with a superb range of facilities, all run with supreme efficiency. The island is fringed by a perfect white sand beach and aquamarine lagoon, and covered in tall palm trees. The natural style is reflected in the use of local materials including thatch and timber in the rooms and public buildings.
Accomodation
The 120 rooms are immaculate and comprehensively equipped and are located behind the beach and on stilts over the lagoon – the honeymoon suites being reached only by boat. (See Fact File below). The Malaafaiy poolside restaurant overlooks the lagoon and serves excellent buffet style meals with a good selection and offers various theme nights with culinary influences from around the world. In addition there is an open air a la carte restaurant and the Vilu bar, constructed on stilts over the lagoon, providing spectacular beach and ocean views.
